Updating the status of prizes for the place winners of AN's Contest 12.
BeltaneTheBat came in first and requested to have his $100 prize donated to a chariitable cause.
Two $50 checks were mailed out last week. One to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital Research Center in Memphis, Tennessee. The other was sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association aka "Jerry's Kids".
I've received confirmation of 3 more prizes.
The first is from Animation Magazine, who's been a long time sponsor of AN's contests. They've cheerfully and graciously confirmed a prize of a year's subscription to one of the place winners.

Another prize confirmation came in from Stephen Silver. He's confirmed an autographed copy of his 160 page book, "The Art of Silver" as a prize.

The next confirmed prize is an autographed copy of "Mariachi Samurai" which features the art of Jose Lopez.
I'm working on something for the 5th place winners. I'll be back soon with an update about this aspect of the prizes once I have one more confirmation in place.

Yes, you get a prize Roger. Both you and Ronan for placing 5th. I'll be sending you a genuine AN t-shirt. And you're eligible to enter the next contest and if you place again you'll win a prize again.
Apelad, let me know which prize you'd like. The year subscription to Animation Magazine, Steve Silver's book or Jose Lopez's book and I'll make arrangements to get it to you.

After that, it'll be Michael and then Easy Zee.

Next contest I'll definately push it up a notch in animation. Hence why I'm not attending this semester for character design. Working on animation skills this time. If the character animation class was available that would be a different story.

Ronan and Roger, I'm be sending you each an AnimationNation.com t-shirt.
Pick one from these samples. I didn't print sample 6 but the rest are in stock. I'll need your shirt size and the color logo that you want. The shirts themselves are black.
Sizes are small, medium, large, extra large and double extra large. They're cotton polyester so they won't shrink as much as 100% cotton when washed.

I've contacted the parties involved with Easy Zee's prize and Michael's prize and am awaiting confirmation that they are on the way.
