Okay. I fess up. It was me.
I tied a blinking LED to a hot air balloon and let it go.
Sorry for any trouble I caused.

That's 155 pages guys, not 55.
The report is thorough with its interviews of witnesses, investigation into radar, weather patterns, cloud temperatures, atmospheric conditions, control tower communications, air traffic at the time, media coverage, etc. The report determined that this is not a hoax and the experience shared by the people who saw this was genuine. The investigation also determined that it might have been but probably was not a weather related phenomenon. The report concludes that there was probably something there but they have no idea what it was.

Charles, they should use your services. You boiled 155 pages to a few sentences. Actually, I think I can do better: "Nothing to see here, folks."

Jasen that vid is cool. Cool as in special effects cool.
I hope to see Hollywood catch up to the guys at home who do these vids nowadays. Hollywood special CG effects are so clinical looking they don't fool the eye anymore. Need more blurs and vibrating like real objects.

I thought you saw Transformers, no? Of course, that wasn't "more" blur and vibration, it was all blur and vibration.

Well...if ya see something flying ...and don't know what it is, it is indeed an unidentified flying object...until it's identified.

Graphiteman, that says it all.
In regard to the Chicago O'Hare incident, the one thing that bothers me is that with hundreds of people in the area and the object hovering for roughly 20 minutes, no one took pics or videos? Even though many travellers were vacationing and normally take cameras and cell phones that take pics and vids?
Word went out as soon as the story broke for vids and pics. Lo and behold the only company claiming to have irrefutable imagery is Dan Ackroyd's group who are putting together a documentary DVD due out next year! Soooo we go from unprecedented UFO sighting to 'buy my DVD'.
You figure it out. ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

Jasen, that new vid definitely looks good but fake.
Here is a surprising video of the one you posted earlier but from another angle from another camera.
Of course I sent you link to the ufo experts and it's now all over the darned news.

Pals I know in special effects fell out of their chairs. They said whoever made that vid can name their price.

Holidayers DO NOT go to Haiti for holidays! Haiti does not have a tourist industry like The Dominican has. My Aunt is a catholic missionary in Port au Prince and constantly tells us how life is tough there. I'm not suggesting that there wouldn't be tourists there but they've got to be pretty brave as anyone who looks like thy got anything worth taking is a candidate for a hostage taking.
