Walt Disney's "The Wild" will be released nationwide tomorrow, April 14. Let's have a quick survey to see how close the 1 day voting community comes to predicting what its box office take will be for the weekend.

Here's the results from this quick survey.
With 18 votes cast:
Less than $15 mil - 33% (6)
$16-$20 mil - 33% (6)
$21-$25 mil - 17% (3)
$41-$45 mil - 11% (2)
$26-$30 mil- 6% (1)
The rest of the categories up to the last one (more than $55 mil) had no votes cast.
Looks like the voters in this poll called it with some accuracy. There was a definite lean towards low numbers. Thanks for participating.
The production of these almost carbon copy films between Disney and DreamWorks has been a major issue on AN and within the community for years, going back to the founding of the site. It hurts the studios and the industry. Hopefully now that a changing of the guard is taking place, we'll see less of this practice and more of an emphasis on individually unique productions that don't cross each other's paths.
