J3 and Ray Pointer renewed over the weekend.
There are several members who haven't done the same and their 30 day grace periods have expired. We're not eliminating avatars or getting rid of links to homepages yet, but we will in the near future.
If you'd like to continue with a premium membership in the IE and your deadline has passed, please renew your account as soon as you can to avoid having it revert to a general membership.

Hi Charles,
I tried to renew my account via Paypal last month but Paypal didn't like my debit card. I will use the snail mail method and send my way past dues to AN address,but since going to the post office is such a pain, may I send extra money to pay for another two years in advance?

You're welcome to send along a payment in any way that's convenient for you, Soliel. That'll work fine. We're happy to have you in the family, but you need to get current. We've been laying back and not coming down on the perks of deliquent subscribers as a courtesy but that will likely change soon.

Hey Charles.
Go ahead and discontinue my IE account for now. With two jobs and a student film to produce I just don't have the time to stand in line at the post office. I'll join again when I screw my head on right again. Furthermore, when that time comes I'll pay a few years in advance just in case a piano falls out of the sky and lands in my head like the safe I'm dodging now.

We've been very lenient and considerate when it comes to renewals. We haven't blocked any banners, signature links or account profile links to personal websites, and several accounts are way past the 30 day grace period we allow for renewals. In some cases, months past the due date.
I strongly encourage IE members to get caught up with their renewals if they want their links, banners and avatars to remain.

Anyone know what happened to my banner image? the button works & goes where is should but the banner images went "Poof" I never messed with it either. I noticed that Steve G's is doing the same but not sure if it's a related issue.
[Jasen, I took a crack at making the fix. It looks like the same problem that a couple of others were having in that there was a space between letters in the code. I made the adjustment but it doesn't seem to have affected a difference. Try it again on your end. If it still doesn't work, let us know and I'll see if I can get Julian or Brian to set it right.]

Yes!!! that was it a space was happening and when I closed the space & pressed update... it didn't update and the space was there once again. weird.
I thought that you guys were trying to tell me something like pay up or something. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

nope- looks like that didn't work either.
See that space between the "I" and "M" on the word "image"? (in my URL banner code) that space KEEPS happening everytime no matter how many times I close the space in my profile section.

P.S. I never muck with it. Gary helped make that code and once I pasted it in there as a signature banner... I never touched it since.

ok, I'm not sure what's going on but when I go into my profile... and place a url code in the space. then press update..... then check back in the profile and what do I see? a SPACE that wasn't there before.
I think it's a ghost moving letters in my profile.
see below... the word "Banner" is spelled "B anner" I DID NOT put that SPACE in there. I'm really freaked out here man. Someone send me some HolyWater or something.

I have no idea why you're experiencing this problem. There was one member I know of whose sig banner was fixed through account admin. There's one other member that has this problem but we haven't heard from them. In a situation like this unless we receive a request to make a fix we don't go into a subscribed members account profile.
Oddly enough the link still works. We'll look into this again and see if there's a solution.

Ok Gary i am not a whizz at these things but it looks like there should be no spaces in the path the following in the following code first one has a space at the end (and shows no picture) the second one the space has been removed and does show the picture (also try and stick to lowercase only)

It could be that the people who host A-Nation have changed server and for example are not running MS exhange server but red hat Linux. (I could be wrong here but it could explain these naming convention troubles)

A big thank you going out to all renewing members. I'm way behind in updating the IE brother and sisterhood list. The project I'm working on has been labor intensive but it's finally wrapping up. I'll be free to attend to it in early October and report on the status of all accounts.
