I just came across this amazing site that collects and showcases rare artwork by Bill Watterson of "Calvin and Hobbes". Any of my fellow devotees are sure to be thrilled!

There are political pieces and some that illustrate various topics we've discussed, such as this one:

I sure am thrilled to learn of this!

I'm not as fanatic a fan as some C&H devotees, but I read each new strip at least as often as I kept up with Peanuts and Far Side.

Interesting article about a man in search of Bill Watterson.

Author goes in search of 'Calvin and Hobbs'

"When Nevin Martell set out to write a biography about "Calvin and Hobbes" creator Bill Watterson, he knew from the start that the artist might not make himself available.

That, as it turns out, was putting it mildly."

"No one expected Bill Watterson would really vanish," said Joe Wos, director of Pittsburgh's ToonSeum. "He's our Howard Hughes of the comic world."
