Hey folks,
Fatkat is looking to add 20 more full time, salaried positions to our team of amazing animation artists.
Yes we hire internationals. At the moment we have the paperwork done for 20 international applicants to come aboard through immigration, we're just looking for the right 20! Are you one?
Fatkat is currently working on Skunk-Fu, Chaotic, SuperNormal and Super Strikas. We're about to ramp up for another show called 3 Delivery, of which we'll need traditionally trained flash animators - as we'll be working with cintiq's and wacoms for this show. We're also looking to top up our animation crew for Super Strikas - another show that will be using wacom tablets and Cintiqs.
Salaries range between 32k and 40k per year, depending on the position. There are Health benefits (of which we pay half of). We pay for sick days, paid vacations, we can help repay student loans (yes internationals too, if graduated on or after January 2005). We offer Friday afternoons off to those whom finish their work early and above all else value a balance of life and work with low quotas.
The positions would be at least a year (However in the last 3 years we've never laid off people due to a shortage of work (knock on wood), so expect to stay longer if you want to).
We would of course much rather have you relocate to Canada for this full time positions, however we do work with many international freelancers from all over the globe - Italy to San Francisco. So it's open to anyone with a solid understanding of animation fundamentals and experience in a flash production environment.
