Hi folks,
New member, first post and thrilled to be here.

As an animation fan and strictly hobbiest, I'm wondering if anyone here has purchased and is using Don Bluth's training cd's. If so, what reactions do you have to them?

I realize that it is geared to newbies and perhaps it isn't something that most of you would find necessary at this point in your careers.

Thanks!
Doug

They are great, highly recommended. You watch over Don's shoulder while he draws and discusses his thought process. Very simple, direct and effective. Wish I'd had them 20 years ago.

I agree, I have a couple copies and I think that kind of insight from a master is way valuable. Like Shane said, you didn't get that kind of education 20 years ago.

Everyone should pick up a copy if you're interested in the art form.

I didn't know they existed myself. They must be indispensable to those who already own them!

Just noticed your comment Bite!

I have a confession to make. *CONFESSION ALERT!*

I skip the home page and cut right to the message board, all times except for scanning the flash banner for new artwork and upcoming show announcements; and AN Frontlines, of course.

Then, it's onward to 'da Board!

*END CONFESSION ALERT!*

That said, Bite, I promise to check out the front page more often!
