Not sure if this has been posted here before, the link was sent in by a reader to share with the community. It's a promotional video for the Richard Williams Animation Masterclass DVD based on his book, the Animators Survival Kit.

Check it out, the promo is great for the length of time it runs:

yeah i think someone posted this someplace on here, but i forget the thread's name. a few buddies of mine were thinking about going in together to get this for ourselves since the price is a bit high for one guy.

looks really cool.

Has anyone here actually watched the video series yet? I'm reading the book, and judging by the promotional videos all the information and examples seem to be exactly the same. The animated examples are nice, but is there anything in the video series that's not covered in the book?

They are the same, essentially. But don't be fooled that you won't get a ton out of the DVDs. It's one thing to read the book and interpret what you're reading and another to be instructed in the content of that book. I think everytime I re-read that book I pick up a few new things that I missed before. I've already pre-ordered my DVDs.
