I saw a brief message about Pixar opening up an animation studio in Israel. Is this true. Does anyone have more information about this.

Haven't heard anything about Pixar opening a studio in Israel. However, Alex Orrelle, a Pixar animator, just opened a studio there. Here's the link:

My God, I don't know enough about the details to perceive how tongue in cheek this response was, but as a die hard fan of non-sequitor humor this tickels me immensely!

Well Pixars loss is Israels gain.... I was lucky enough to work with Alex for a few months before he opened crew972. It was great I learned a lot, a very different approach to animation than what I was used to, and a lot of fun.

I like Sienfeld, but I hope his material hasn't been tamed by writing for a childrens audience. I haven't got a problem with a 'talk' heavy character, it worked for Garfield in the old TV series.

Doh!

Posted in the wrong thread. I guess it's redundant to say it, but... nice demoreel!
