Just wanted to post this link to a brief rundown on the reactions from the rest of the world. I'd also like to send out major props to the Brits. Man, when the sh** comes down and we've got to kick some ass, they are the first ones to say "We got your back". They are our most loyal buddies in the world and I for one can't thank them enough. http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/ap/20010918/us/attacks_reax_by_country.html

I want to thank the Pakistan. These people put themselves in the MOST dangerous position by standing up for the US. No other country had as much to lose and after they were already under trade sanction from the US for nuclear testing. They are an intelligent and soul wise people. Also Arafat who has always put himself in the way of the wrath of extremists to make peace. He was one of the very first to come out with condemnation against the attack on the WTC.

Thanks for the article Fooksie. It was right on except for this compaints about the pastor's sermon. The government is going to handle this war, it's their job. Whenever we as individuals get the call, we'll step up. In the meantime, it's imperative that we not start attacking our own ciizens or guests because of how they look or what religion they follow. Personally I think this message needs to get out every single day.

Otterslide, I completely agree . " Beware the fury of the patient man." I just want our government to get all of their ducks in a row before they do something. The main reason I liked this editorial was the part about the Queen. Britain is a class act, and I am very proud of the Land of Benny Hill!

Well mephistopheles, I have watched him for many years. After all he was propagandized as satan so who wouldn't. I have watched many interviews with him and his desire to have peace and fair treatment for his people has always impressed me. I understand both sides of that conflict and see no devil . Being supportive of the US is fine in friendly countrys but if one were to walk a mile in his shoes it might be slightly more dangerous for a high profile statesman to make those comments in a US hostle country country. Keeping in mind how extremists don't need much provoking. If he is powerless then he was only speaking for himself and that impresses ,me even more.

I just want to say that I agree with Otterslide's statement about not taking our anger out on guests in our country, just because they're the same nationality. I am currently overseas, but I heard some disturbing news from back home. I'm from just outside of Toronto Canada, and down the street from my house is a Muslim temple. Apparently a couple of days ago, it was torched and almost burned to the ground. This is a prime example of the ignorance of our current society, and why uselss wars are fought. Actions like this don't resolve anything! All this serves to do is create more tension and hatred. I hope people will learn to think before they act.
